My Obsessions during COVID
The Workout
It started with the idea to stay active and enjoy a little sweat 3x a week during COVID. Through 1% training (more on that later), my AM routine consists of NY TImes “The Daily” followed by 50 minutes of active exercise and yoga.
Reading is Fundamental.
I was always a uncommitted “reader.” People would recommend books, I would purchase them, read a couple of chapters and forget it exists. But that changed this summer. Learning about entrepeneurialship ignited a curiosity that only reading more was able to quench. I learned about Atomic Habits and getting 1% better over time, Alchemy and how the opposite of a great idea, could be an even better idea and what it’s meant to create a moment.
The Power of Podcast
I really missed the boat around podcasts. Maybe I was too busy, maybe not interested, but I have a healthy fascination with podcasts. From Nice White Parents, to How I Built This and S. Town, my afternoon walks have been narrated by voices like Sarah Koening, Michael Barbaro and Guy Raz. I would never be able to make those 10,000 steps without em. Thank you!
